They claim the "older" sftp plugin is still available, but take it from me that it doesn't work with the latest aptana versions. I develop on Java projects, so want to set up a file-based "put" or "deploy" where I can just save the file or shift+ctrl+s or something and be able to then just have it save the file to a separate directory where the site is being served from. All I can find is a way to sync with this Aptana Cloud thing, which is not useful for me. There are numerous bugs, instability, and recent builds simply fail to install basic plugins, like SubClipse. While the features are indeed great, and it is a useful tool, I just wish it was more stable and better supported.
